ROOM 2

Cooking Throughout the Year

When kindergarteners participate in cooking activities, they are learning math, science, and reading. But they're also learning social skills by working together to make a recipe, communicating as they interact and making connections as they find out their likes or dislikes on similar foods.

Cooking in the classroom exposes students to an array of flavors and leads to teaching healthtier eating habits. If your child has any food allergies (gluten, lactose, dairy, eggs, etc.) let me know!

If you would like to donate cooking ingredients for any of the cooking projects we will have throughout the year, let me know.
